If you're feeling low, stuck, unmotivated or unsure of what you want from life, it can be hard to see a way forward.

Many people experience periods of low mood or depression, or simply feel lost, disconnected or as though they're going through the motions.

Counselling can help you understand what's happening, lift your mood and reconnect you with meaning, purpose and direction.

Sometimes low mood arrives gradually. You may not even notice it at first.

Things that once felt easy can begin to feel harder. Your energy may dip, motivation may disappear, and you may find yourself simply going through the motions rather than truly engaging with life.

For some people, it can feel like they've lost a part of themselves. Others describe feeling disconnected, emotionally flat or uncertain about who they are and what they want next.

You may continue to work, support others and carry on with day-to-day responsibilities, whilst privately feeling as though something isn't quite right.

Perhaps life simply doesn't feel how you would like it to anymore.

Counselling can provide a space to slow down, explore what is happening and begin to make sense of your experiences without judgement or pressure.

Together, we can explore what's contributing to how you're feeling, understand any patterns that may be keeping you stuck and help you reconnect with what matters to you.

The aim isn't to force positivity or expect instant change, but to help you gradually rediscover clarity, hope, confidence and a renewed sense of direction at a pace that feels right for you.

  • Feeling more connected to yourself, rather than simply getting through each day on autopilot.

  • Enjoying moments again without everything feeling heavy, overwhelming or emotionally draining.

  • Having a clearer sense of direction and feeling more confident about what comes next.

  • Reconnecting with the people, activities and parts of life that matter most to you.

  • Feeling more hopeful about the future and recognising that things don't have to stay exactly as they are today.

Counselling and psychotherapy isn’t about forcing positivity or expecting you to become a completely different person. It can provide an opportunity to better understand yourself, reconnect with what is important to you and gradually build a life that feels more meaningful, balanced and aligned with who you are.

A PERSONALISED APPROACH BUILT AROUND YOU

Working together in a way that suits you.

No two people arrive with the same experiences, challenges or goals, which is why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

I work in an integrative and pluralistic way, meaning I tailor our work around you rather than expecting you to fit a particular therapeutic model.

My work is grounded in Person-Centred principles, with the therapeutic relationship sitting at the heart of our work together. Depending on your needs, goals and preferences, we may also draw upon Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused approaches, mindfulness and Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, where appropriate and agreed.

The aim isn't simply to talk about what's happening, but to better understand yourself, recognise recurring patterns and create meaningful, sustainable change.

If you've found your way to this page, there's a good chance you've recognised something in your own experience.

You may already know what you'd like support with, or perhaps you're simply looking for a therapist whose approach feels right for you.

The first step is to book an Initial Consultation. This is a 50–60 minute appointment where we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss what you're hoping to gain from counselling, and answer any questions you may have. It's also an opportunity for us both to consider whether my way of working feels like the right fit.

As an integrative and pluralistic counsellor and psychotherapist, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Therapy is tailored to you, your experiences, your strengths and your goals.

There is no pressure or obligation to continue afterwards. If we both feel we're the right fit to work together, we'll agree a plan for ongoing therapy at a pace that feels right for you.
