Counselling & Psychotherapy that fits you.

In Oxfordshire & Online.

A collaborative and integrative approach to help you better understand yourself, navigate life’s challenges and move forward towards better clarity and confidence.

A PERSONALISED APPROACH BUILT AROUND YOU

Counselling & Psychotherapy isn’t a one-size fits-all approach.

I work in an integrative and pluralistic way, which means I tailor therapy to the individual rather than expecting you to fit a particular model or way of working.

At the heart of counselling and psychotherapy is a genuine, respectful relationship built on trust, confidentiality and collaboration. From that foundation, we can draw upon different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you.

Some people want space to reflect, process experiences and feel heard. Others are looking to better understand recurring patterns in their thoughts, emotions, relationships or ways of coping. Some want practical tools and strategies to help them navigate challenges and move forward with greater confidence.

My work is grounded in Person-Centred principles and delivered in an integrative and pluralistic way. Depending on your needs and preferences, our work may incorporate elements of Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Solution-Focused approaches (SFBT), mindfulness and neuroscience-informed ideas, alongside Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy where appropriate and agreed.

Rather than following a fixed formula, we work together to find an approach that feels right for you, your goals and your circumstances.

The aim is not simply to understand what is happening, but to support you in creating meaningful change where you want it.

AREAS OF SUPPORT

People often come to therapy because they have reached a point where they want things to feel different.

They may feel:

  • Stuck in patterns they don't fully understand

  • Constantly thinking about everyone else's needs before their own

  • Successful on the outside, but struggling underneath

  • Feeling disconnected from themselves or the life they've built

  • Repeating the same relationship dynamics

  • Carrying pressure, responsibility or expectations that never seem to switch off

  • Questioning what comes next

  • Feeling overwhelmed, lost, frustrated or emotionally exhausted

  • Wanting more from life, but not knowing where to begin

  • Aware that something needs to change, but unsure what that change looks like

Counselling and psychotherapy can provide the space to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and explore what moving forward might look like for you.

Whatever has brought you here, we can start there.

THE PROCESS

How Counselling & Psychotherapy Work.

01

Initial Contact

A free 15-minute call.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, which is why I offer a free 15-minute introductorycall.

This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what has brought you here, answer any initial questions, and explore whether counselling feels like the right next step.

There is no pressure and no obligation. Simply an opportunity to see whether working together feels like a good fit.

02

Initial Consultation

Beggining the work.

If you decide to proceed, we'll arrange an Initial Consultation.

This is a 50-minute session where we begin exploring what has brought you to therapy, what you would like support with, and your best hopes for our work together.

We'll also discuss any relevant background, current challenges and what you would like therapy to offer you moving forward.

The Initial Consultation forms part of the therapeutic process and helps us build a foundation for our work together.

03

Ongoing Sessions

Exploring what matters.

Sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place weekly to begin with.

Some people use counselling to better understand themselves and their experiences. Others are looking to navigate a specific challenge, improve relationships, process difficult emotions, or create meaningful change.

As an integrative and pluralistic therapist, I draw upon a range of approaches depending on your needs, preferences and goals. We regularly review what feels helpful and adapt our work accordingly.

04

Review & Ending

Our work together does not have a fixed end point.

Some people attend for a relatively short period around a particular issue, whilst others choose to continue for longer.

We review progress throughout our work together and discuss openly how things are feeling.

When the time feels right, we plan an ending collaboratively, ensuring it feels considered and supportive rather than abrupt.

If you require support in the future you are more than welcome to return.

Ending well.

WAYS OF WORKING

Where our sessions take place.

In-Person Counselling & Psychotherapy in Oxfordshire.

A DEDICATED SPACE AWAY FROM EVERYDAY LIFE.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy from my private garden therapy room in Upper Heyford, near Bicester, Oxfordshire (OX25).

For many people, there is something valuable about stepping away from the demands of daily life and entering a dedicated space designed for reflection, conversation and self-understanding.

The therapy room provides a calm, comfortable and confidential environment where you can pause, think more clearly, and focus entirely on yourself without distraction.

Online Counselling & Psychotherapy

PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT WHEREVER YOU ARE

Online counselling offers the same thoughtful and collaborative approach as in-person therapy, with the flexibility to attend sessions from the comfort of your own home or workplace.

Many of my clients lead busy professional and personal lives, and online sessions can make therapy more accessible around work, family commitments, travel or location.

For some people, being in a familiar environment can also make it easier to talk openly and engage fully in the therapeutic process.

Available throughout the UK and internationally.

Walking & Talk Therapy in Oxfordshire.

SOMETIMES MOVEMENT CREATES MOVEMENT

For some people, conversation flows more naturally whilst walking side-by-side rather than sitting face-to-face.

Walk & Talk Therapy combines counselling with the benefits of gentle movement and time spent outdoors in nature.

Many clients find that being outside helps create perspective, reduces the intensity of difficult conversations and encourages reflection in a different way.

Sessions take place in carefully selected local edge of the Cotswolds locations in Oxfordshire and can be discussed as part of our work together.

What you can expect from working together…

A free 15-minute introductory call offers an opportunity to ask questions, discuss what has brought you here, and explore whether working together feels right.

There is no pressure, no obligation, and no expectation to commit to anything further.
