TAKING THE FIRST STEP

Start with an initial consultation.

The first step is to book an Initial Consultation. This is a 50 minute appointment where we'll explore what has brought you to counselling, discuss what you're hoping to gain from therapy, and begin developing an understanding of the areas where you'd like support.

Initial Consultations can take place either online or in person at my private therapy practice in Upper Heyford (near Bicester), Oxfordshire (OX25 5AF).

You'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and learn more about how I work. There is no pressure or obligation to continue with further sessions afterwards. If we both feel that working together is the right next step, we'll agree a plan for ongoing therapy at a pace that feels right for you.

ONGOING THERAPY

Finding a rhythm that works for you.

Many clients begin with weekly sessions to create consistency and make space for meaningful reflection and progress.

As therapy develops, some choose to move to fortnightly or monthly sessions, whilst others continue meeting more regularly depending on their circumstances and goals.

There is no fixed timescale and no expectation about how long therapy should last. We review this together throughout our work and adapt as your needs evolve.

For some people, therapy provides support through a particular period of challenge or change. For others, it becomes an opportunity for deeper self-understanding, personal growth and lasting change.

Together, we find a pace that feels right for you.

Ready to take the first step?

If you've found your way to this page, there's a good chance you've recognised something in your own experience.

You may already know what you'd like support with, or perhaps you're simply looking for a therapist whose approach feels right for you.

The first step is to book an Initial Consultation. This is a 50–60 minute appointment where we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss what you're hoping to gain from counselling, and answer any questions you may have. It's also an opportunity for us both to consider whether my way of working feels like the right fit.

As an integrative and pluralistic counsellor and psychotherapist, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Therapy is tailored to you, your experiences, your strengths and your goals.

There is no pressure or obligation to continue afterwards. If we both feel we're the right fit to work together, we'll agree a plan for ongoing therapy at a pace that feels right for you.
