ONGOING THERAPY
Finding a rhythm that works for you.
Many clients begin with weekly sessions to create consistency and make space for meaningful reflection and progress.
As therapy develops, some choose to move to fortnightly or monthly sessions, whilst others continue meeting more regularly depending on their circumstances and goals.
There is no fixed timescale and no expectation about how long therapy should last. We review this together throughout our work and adapt as your needs evolve.
For some people, therapy provides support through a particular period of challenge or change. For others, it becomes an opportunity for deeper self-understanding, personal growth and lasting change.
Together, we find a pace that feels right for you.
Taking the first step.
You don't need to know exactly what you want to talk about before reaching out.
Many people simply know that something feels difficult, overwhelming, or different from how they would like it to be.
A free 15-minute introductory call offers an opportunity to ask questions, discuss what has brought you here, and explore whether working together feels right.
There is no pressure, no obligation, and no expectation to commit to anything further.
Understanding sessions, fees & your options…
-
No. There is no obligation to commit to a set number of sessions. Some people attend for a shorter period to work through a specific challenge, whilst others choose longer-term support. This is something we can discuss together and review as our work progresses.
-
Yes. If you feel ready to commit to regular therapy, block bookings are available at a slightly reduced rate compared to individual pay-as-you-go sessions.
Many people find this helpful as it allows them to invest in a period of consistent support whilst making a small saving at the same time. There is no obligation to purchase a block, and pay-as-you-go sessions are always available.
-
Yes. I offer a discounted rate for people currently working within emergency services as a small way of recognising the pressures and responsibilities often associated with these roles.
Please mention this when making an enquiry, and I can provide further information.

Walk and Talk Therapy is an alternative way of working together outdoors whilst walking side-by-side in a local setting.
Some people find walking helps conversations feel more natural and less intense than sitting face-to-face in a therapy room. It can also provide an opportunity to combine movement, fresh air and reflection as part of the therapeutic process.
Walk and Talk Therapy is available where appropriate and can be discussed as part of our work together.
-
Yes, where availability allows. Some clients prefer to remain online, whilst others attend in person or choose a combination of both. Flexibility can often make therapy easier to fit around work, family and other commitments.
-
Many people begin with weekly sessions before gradually increasing the time between appointments as things begin to feel more manageable. However, therapy isn't one-size-fits-all and we'll discuss a pace that feels appropriate for your needs and goals.
